Summary We are seeking a Showroom Manager to oversee our retail operations at Decks and Docks. This role is crucial for ensuring a positive customer experience while managing showroom activities. You will lead a team dedicated to helping customers find the right products for their decking and docking needs. Responsibilities * Manage daily operations of the showroom to ensure high standards of customer service. * Lead and train showroom staff to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques. * Develop merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and drive sales. * Assist customers with product selection and provide expert advice on decking solutions. * Oversee cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records. * Coordinate product demonstrations and promotional events to engage customers. * Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with suppliers for timely restocking. Requirements * Proven experience in retail management or showroom operations. * Strong sales skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members. * Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management. * Familiarity with interior design principles is a plus but not required. * Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
