What we Expect of our Bedding Sales Representatives * Drive to Succeed * Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment * Experience with tablet/IPad technology * Excellent interpersonal skills * Presentation Skills in a sales environment * Desire to be part of something big * Coachable * Furniture or Bedding Sales * Customer Relationship management What you 'll do on a typical day: * As a Bedding Sales Representative you will achieve your sales targets and develop new business through effective selling of bedding and accessories to new customers. * As a Sales Representative you will grow and maintain relationships with customers to uncover new opportunities. * As a Sales Representative you will develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Mattress and Bedding department. * As a Sales Representative you will collaborate with team members. * As a Sales Representative you will follow established procedures and protocols regarding CFS and delivery schedules. * As a Sales Representative you will assist new customers with identifying the right Bedding set, utilizing the Bed Match System provided to us by Kingsdown. What you need to succeed * Excellent interpersonal skills * Experience presenting information and data in a sales environment * Desire to learn our industry and grow your customer base. Physical requirement of this position * Must be capable of being on your feet (standing or walking the sales floor) for extended periods of time (up to two hours at a stretch) * Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds * Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area * Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping * Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock; ensures re-wraps are done promptly The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
