Job Summary *Relocation and housing are not provided for these positions. Field customer requests and engineer solutions that conform to their budget and timeline. Efficient time management and a sense of urgency are critical to being successful. This position requires a mechanical understanding and aptitude particularly in the area of control valves and piping. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: * Interface directly with customers via phone and email to provide engineered solutions, technical support, and order management * Engineer complete solutions for customer process control needs * Work with the Application Engineering team to learn the technical aspects of the job as well as the principles of account management * Manage the complete sales cycle including pre-sales engagement and prospecting, engineering, quotation development, order processing and administration, product assembly and shipment, invoicing, and payment * Document information related to customer requests * Manage project documentation and technical submittals * Develop a proficient understanding of our business system, including the ability to investigate problems and suggest creative solutions Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Be enrolled in an accredited university and actively pursuing a Bachelor 's degree (B.S.) in Engineering * Working knowledge of word processor and spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel and Word). * Working knowledge of database programs (i.e. IFS, Salesforce, Outlook) preferable. * Effective interpersonal and communication (oral & written) skills required. * Must be very customer focused.
