Account Manager, Industrial/Manufacturing Products (Technical industrial product sales exp. req.) Description Our client, a global leader in precision technology and optical component manufacturing, is seeking an Account Manager near Sugar Hill, GA to drive sales for fiber optic connection components (such as polishing fixtures and consumables, ferrules, lenses, etc.) across 20-30 direct accounts in the Western and Southwestern U.S. and Mexico. This role involves regular customer visits, collaboration with distributors, and engagement with design engineers, purchasing managers, and technical stakeholders to expand market share in a niche, high-growth industry. The ideal candidate has an engineering or technical background, industrial product sales experience, strong relationship-building skills, and a willingness to travel. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, supportive U.S. team with the backing of an international industry leader in an emerging market with limited competition. Account Manager (Technical industrial product sales exp. req.) Responsibilities * Develop and execute sales plans for designated accounts * Manage core customer relationships and oversee distributor partnerships * Conduct quarterly business reviews to track sales performance * Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts and reports * Lead product training sessions for customers and distributors * Negotiate pricing and contracts to maintain profitability * Work closely with Japan-based teams on technical and business matters * Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution Account Manager (Technical industrial product sales exp. req.)
