Required Knowledge * High level knowledge of road safety industry & MUTCD guidelines * Customer and Vendor relationship building * Product knowledge and their uses to apply solutions for customer requests and needs * Basic understanding of customer classifications (City, County, State, Contractor, Utility, etc) and how to navigate and conduct business Skills and Abilities * Ability to work well with others in team environment * Problem solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to learn new skills on the job quickly * Organizational Skills * Maintain positive work environment and image in marketplace * Time management and computer skills for efficient productivity * Basic computer skills * Accurately provide quotes and support to customer requests * Ability to tow equipment safely and maneuver in tight spaces if required Equipment Operated * Office equipment (printer, copy machine, etc.) * Vehicles (Trucks/Cars) of various sizes * Flatbed trucks * Trailer mounted warning signs * Cones, delineators, drums, barricades, signs and various other traffic control devices * Trailer * Various products to conduct product demonstrations Physical Requirements & Work Environment * Requires standing for prolonged periods of time * Requires using hands to handle, control or lift objects * Requires being outside and exposed to environmental conditions * Requires being in construction environment * Exposure to reasonable noise levels * Requires remaining in the seated position for prolonged periods of time * Requires lifting up 40lb * Requires repetitive motion of hands * Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less * Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner * Minimum Education and Experience * High school/ College degree with 3 - 5 years of Sales experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
