Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their preferences, and effectively communicate product information will be key to driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Utilize effective phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries and orders. * Maintain a clean and organized sales location. * Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products and enhance customer satisfaction. * Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product features, benefits, and promotions. * Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. * Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not mandatory. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash register operations. * Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on customer needs. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
