The position The Mechanical Spare Parts Sales Coordinator will be responsible for completing the parts sales orders and maintaining the company's spare parts inventory. This position would be rewarding for a candidate that has some mechanical experience, works independently and has the ability to develop and maintain an excellent business relationship with the organization's customers. Essential Responsibilities * Plans and manages parts orders to ensure over 95% on-time delivery. * Collaborates with the Engineering team to determine customer's needs. * Monitors customers' order trends to define their needs. * Assists with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issue. * Assists customers in identifying the correct parts needed. * Proactively seeks out sales opportunities. * Analyzes sales to determine optimal stock inventory levels. * Adjusts transactions that affect parts inventory to ensure proper execution and recordkeeping. * Resolves order entry problems and establishes corrective actions as required. * Collaborates with the Inventory Manager to account for parts in stock. * Plans and coordinates purchases from external suppliers to meet customer's orders. * Maintains all Inventory data for stock parts at the part level. * Maintains on time delivery records and statistics. * Identifies and resolves conflicts for orders that don't meet customer's satisfaction. * Updates customers' contact information, as needed. * Participates in the organization's process improvement efforts. * Proactively seeks out opportunities to maintain an excellent business relationship with all customers. Essential Job Requirements * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Dependable, organized, analytical thinker * Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts * Intermediate Analytical and Mechanical problem-solving skills * Ability to read and interpret blueprints * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office * Working knowledge of ERP systems and MRP * Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time without sacrificing quality of work. * Strong understanding of customer service concepts, practices, and procedures. * Ability to effectively interact with all members of the organization and work with cross-functional teams. * Basic knowledge inventory control techniques. * Strong attention to detail. Required education and experience * 2+ years of customer service-related experience * Some formal Mechanical or Technical education * 1+years of working in a manufacturing environment * 2+ years of marketing experience * 2+years of mechanical problem-solving skills.
