Eataly is not a chain; each Eataly is different, with its own character and own theme - but all with the same aim... for our guests to: * EAT authentic Italian food at our restaurants, cafes and to-go counters * SHOP a selection of high-quality Italian, local and homemade products * LEARN through our classes and our team's product knowledge Job Description The Wine Store Sales Associate assists guests with all steps of their shopping experience including: guiding them to products, securing products out of reach, loading heavy items and making suggestions. Reports to the Beverage Managers. * Provides prompt, efficient and friendly guest service * Educates guests about Italian Wines, beer and beverages sold at Eataly * Receives and stocks wine and wine store merchandise, may review invoices * Rotates, faces and replenishes merchandise * Opens wine and pours for guests * Describes flavor profile, pairing detail and winery information * Performs other duties as required or assigned Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Wine sale experience * Italian wine knowledge preferred Job Requirements * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 20 pounds of force frequently; or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects * Ability to exert well-paced mobility for periods up to 4 hours * Flexible availability * Expected to work weekends!
