JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced sales professional who is enthusiastic about helping customers receive the best possible product and service. To be successful, you will bring a consultative selling approach while possessing the ability to create compelling sales presentations, engage decision makers and effectively negotiate acceptable terms. RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct showroom visits (scheduled and ad hoc) to meet with prospective and existing clients, provide product demonstrations, offer consultations, and assist with purchasing decisions. * Execute outbound cold outreach to builders, contractors, and other potential clients to generate new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base. * Manage inbound leads from the CSR team by handling follow-up calls, consultations, and high-value/complex orders requiring a tailored sales approach. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to foster repeat business and brand loyalty. * Track and report on sales metrics and customer interactions to ensure targets are being met and opportunities are optimized. * Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts and promotional campaigns. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively address customer needs and provide valuable insights. SKILLS & ABILITIES * High-end building materials experience a major plus. * Fundamental understanding of sales-related financial metrics. * Relationship management and communication skills. * Negotiation skills and the ability to close a deal. * Familiarity with blueprints, architectural drawings and/or design. * Experience using a CRM such as Salesforce or NetSuite. * Customer service ability and experience. * Openness to change, leaning into new ideas with a positive mindset of creating the future. * Proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook. Requirements: * 3+ Years' experience calling on and servicing long term accounts or customers required. * Proven history building long-term relationships with customers and/or accounts. * Proven sales experience meeting or exceeding targets. * Extremely strong customer service orientation. * Initiative-taker with proven skills in negotiating and driving for results in a complex environment. * Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, and helpful demeanor. * Unwavering commitment to ethical behavior.
