Join our dynamic team and contribute to our success while helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. _ Job Overview As a Front Desk / Sales Associate at The Bar Method, your primary responsibilities will be to drive membership and sales, along with greeting and assisting clients. You will also engage with prospective clients and guests, provide excellent customer service, and assist them in finding the right membership or class package to meet their needs. As the first point of contact for members and guests, your role is crucial in helping maintain a positive and motivating environment for members. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: * Actively promote and sell studio memberships, packages, and retail to existing and prospective clients. * Utilize consultative sales techniques to showcase the benefits of joining the studio and achieving fitness goals. * Work with manager to meet or exceed monthly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) and actively provide feedback and seek opportunities for improvement. * Process payments through POS systems and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately. Lead Generation: * Follow the manager's guidance to identify and pursue potential leads through various channels, including online platforms, referrals, community outreach and events. * Maintain an online database and follow up with leads to convert them into members. Studio Operations: * Collaborate with manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations, delightful client experience, and a positive studio environment/community. * Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to, answering phones, scheduling classes, managing memberships, processing payments, checking clients in for their classes and following up with leads, helping keep the studio clean and safe. Customer Service: * Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries, providing information about studio offerings, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. * Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for both new and existing members. Product Knowledge: * Develop an understanding of the different class formats and effectively communicate the value and benefits of each to potential clients, matching their needs and goals with appropriate solutions. Team Collaboration: * Collaborate with fellow team members to create a supportive and cohesive work environment. * Share insights, strategies, and best practices to maximize sales and member retention. Qualifications and Skills: * High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sales, marketing or fitness-related fields is a plus. * Proven experience in sales, preferably in the fitness industry or a similar customer-oriented field. * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with diverse individuals. * Passion for fitness and a basic understanding of different exercise modalities. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage administrative tasks effectively. * Strong problem solving capabilities and the ability to handle client inquiries and concerns effectively. * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle a high volume of interactions maintaining a positive attitude. * Ability to work independently, take initiative, as well as collaborate as a part of a team. * Proficiency in using basic computer applications. * Knowledge of sales software, customer relationship management (CRM) tools a plus. * Flexibility to work on weekend mornings and some weekday evenings Benefits: * Competitive compensation. * Opportunity for growth and development within the studio. * Flexible schedule. * FREE studio Club Membership. * Supportive and inclusive team environment.
