Overview We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design and a keen eye for aesthetics, capable of transforming spaces into functional and visually appealing environments. They will have strong communication skills and able to articulate our processes with the client. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, drafting design plans, and overseeing the execution of projects from concept to completion. Duties * Collaborate with clients in our showroom to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints. * Develop comprehensive design concepts that incorporate elements such as space planning, color theory, and lighting. * Utilize software such as autocad, 2020 design, and/or mozaik software. * Draft floor plans, elevations, and specifications for renovations or new builds. * Manage the selection of materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the overall design vision. * Coordinate with our construction team and vendors to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards. * Conduct site visits to assess progress, address any issues, and ensure designs are implemented accurately. * Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to provide innovative solutions for clients. Requirements * Ability to articulate clearly with clients, have an upbeat personality. * Proven experience in interior design or a related field is preferred. * Proficiency in design softwares such as autocad, sketchup, revit, 2020 design, mozaik software * Strong understanding of color theory, lighting design, remodeling processes, and construction contracts. * Excellent drafting skills with the ability to create detailed plans and specifications. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. * Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members. * A portfolio showcasing previous design projects is highly desirable. * A degree in Interior Design or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
