Check us out at [please apply online] About the Role: The Bedding Sales Associate plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing expert knowledge and personalized service in the bedding department. This position is focused on understanding customer needs and preferences to recommend the best products that promote comfort and well- being. The associate will be responsible for maintaining an inviting and organized sales floor, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible. Additionally, the role involves staying informed about the latest trends and innovations in bedding to effectively communicate these to customers. Ultimately, the Bedding Sales Associate aims to drive sales and foster customer loyalty through exceptional service and product knowledge. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in home goods or bedding. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in customer service roles. * Knowledge of sleep products and bedding materials. Responsibilities: * Engage with customers to understand their bedding needs and preferences. * Provide knowledgeable recommendations on mattresses, sheets, pillows, and other bedding products. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking and merchandising products. * Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. * Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends to effectively assist customers. Skills: The required skills for this position include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for engaging with customers and understanding their needs. Sales skills are utilized daily to effectively recommend products and close sales, ensuring that customers leave satisfied with their purchases. Organizational skills are important for maintaining the sales floor and ensuring that products are displayed attractively. Additionally, a willingness to learn about new products and trends in the bedding industry will enhance the associate's ability to provide informed recommendations. Preferred skills, such as experience in customer service, will further contribute to creating a positive shopping experience for customers. Store Hours- Monday through Saturday 11:00 a.m to 8:00 p.m. Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Set schedule includes the same 2 days off every week between Monday and Thursday.
