Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in product demonstrations, manage stock levels, and contribute to the overall success of our retail operations. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. * Provide knowledgeable information about products and services. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions. * Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and promotions. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to store policies. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy. * Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering calls related to store inquiries. Qualifications * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. * Experience with stock management and inventory control is advantageous. * Demonstrated ability to perform product demos effectively. * Supervisory experience is a nice-to-have but not required. * A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
