Title: Key Accounts Manager Location: Erlanger, KY Salary: $75k - $100k, DOE, Commission/bonus eligible Supporting the RSM's with regional and short-term sales, the KA will also support mid and long-term global project for which the final destination of the product will be USA but for which the sale of the product itself can be realized by another subsidiary outside of USA (for example in Japan). Job purpose Key Account Manager is responsible to improve existing and to develop new commercial relationship with the Japanese machine-tool OEMs, dealers, manufacturing transplants, trading companies in North America to increase the direct/indirect sales with these accounts (in North America and/or in Japan). This position is expected to apply company's global strategy approach of OEM. Duties and responsibilities - Present, promote and sell products and services to existing and prospective customers - Map Japanese machine tool manufacturers and dealers, Japanese industries and Japanese trading companies located in North America - Identify US sales channels and Japanese decision-makers contacts - Visit customers and make presentations about the company & North American structure - Maintain existing customer relationships in Japan and expend them in the US - Follow-up on global projects and coordinate company's actions in the US and in Japan - Work together with the local Regional Sales Managers - Share information with other Key Accounts worldwide - Follow up with existing and potential new customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs - Present sales and realistic forecasts to the management - Participate in shows and exhibitions when required (worldwide) - Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee Qualifications - Technical Sales background - Experience in the manufacturing industry and/or production metrology - Proven technical sales experience with Japanese accounts - Knowledge of Japanese machine-tools OEMs - Fluent Japanese and English language required - Excellent organizational, time and stress management skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Positive attitude Travel Requirement - Travel up to 60% which may include domestic and international travel, overnight stay They work onsite in Erlanger, KY when not traveling so looking for local candidates.
