Job Summary As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring proper fit and style selection. Your expertise in optical products and services will contribute to enhancing customers' vision and overall satisfaction. Duties * Assist customers in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on prescription and style preferences * Take accurate measurements for fitting eyeglasses or contact lenses * Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure comfort and functionality * Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance * Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies * Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to provide comprehensive eye care services Qualifications * Proficiency in medical coding related to optical services * Strong sales skills with a background in retail sales preferred * Knowledge of aseptic technique for handling eyewear * Familiarity with optical systems and medical terminology * Experience working in a laboratory or clinic setting is advantageous * Understanding of ophthalmology practices and procedures * Anatomy knowledge relevant to eye health Join our team as an Optician to utilize your skills in providing exceptional eye care services to our valued customers.
