Position Summary : The candidate should be customer-driven, detail- oriented, articulate, and capable of multi-tasking. Excellent communication skills, computer knowledge and math aptitude are needed for this position. A.J. is dedicated to industry leading customer service - we stand behind our products, service, and employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Assist customers via email and telephone in placing orders * Maintain accurate customer records * Access the order entry system to provide customers with accurate and timely information * Answer general and technical questions from customers * Assist with marketing projects: maintain inventory of samples & literature and ship to customers as requested EXPERIENCE * Post high school education and customer service or sales experience is preferred SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE * Attention to detail and accuracy * Problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both written and verbally * Exhibit a daily commitment to quality and productivity * Possess strong decision making and analytical skills * Highly organized * Work well within a team and possess the ability to manage stress * Professional demeanor * Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Outlook PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS * Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds with assistance * Ability to sit for long durations (duration of shift excluding breaks) * Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
