Job Overview SALES NEW POOL & SPA RENOVATION ETC We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology sales, B2B sales, and account management, with the ability to effectively communicate product benefits through engaging product demos. This position requires a proactive approach to cold calling and business development, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service tailored to their needs. Position Description: * Ability to independently complete all facets of building estimating and bidding processes; including but not limited to completing material takeos and subcontractor solicitations. * Review bids for completeness and compliance. * Coordinate, develop, and complete proposals for prospective clients. * Simultaneously work on multiple estimates / bids while meeting deadline requirements. * Operate and maintain prociency in all internal estimating systems, technologies, and software. * Develop preliminary construction schedules with consideration given to project specic requirements. * Develop design-build bidding documents and ultimately construction documents. * Create written "scopes of work" to be included with subcontracts. Essential Qualications: * Bachelor's or Associate Degree in the eld of building construction plus four (4) years related building construction experience required. * Excellent math skills with an analytical mind, paying attention to details is a must. * Building construction estimating experience. * Eective written and oral communication skills. * Ability to work independently, as well as the ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities - requiring exceptional organizational skills. * Procient computer skills including MS Oce products. * Knowledge of Sage Estimating, on-screen takeo, and Procore is preferred but not required. * The willingness to travel throughout Maine and New Hampshire requiring seldom overnight lodging. * Courteous, professional demeanor, and possess an energetic positive attitude. * Willingness to continue education to expand knowledge base, estimating skills, and construction techniques / methodologies. * A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Responsibilities * Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking. * Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential clients. * Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. * Utilize Salesforce for tracking leads, managing accounts, and reporting on sales activities. * Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation. * Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions to effectively position our offerings. * Provide feedback from clients to help improve products and services. Qualifications * Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in technology or B2B environments. * Strong skills in sales management and account management. * Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for tracking sales activities. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively. * Experience in conducting product demos that highlight key features and advantages. * Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player. * A proactive approach to business development with a strong focus on achieving results. * Retail sales experience is a plus but not required.
