With over 30 years of experience, TQ Metal Works strives to provide exceptional services to clients nationwide. * About the role: The Outside Sales position at our steel plate processing and fabrication shop plays a crucial role in driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves maintaining and developing customer relationships, providing technical support, and assisting the team with quotes, proposals, and order processing. The position will also include conducting market research and client retention. * Roles/Tasks of the Position: * Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers. * Assist in preparing quotes, proposals and sales orders. * Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. * Coordinate with Shop Manager and Estimating Manger to ensure timely delivery. * Ensure accurate record-keeping of sales transactions. * Prepare regular sales reports. * Provide recommendations and solutions to customers. * Participate in meetings and assist in strategizing new sale opportunities. * Other duties as assigned. Education/Experience: * High School Diploma or GED. * Previous sales experience, preferably within the steel plate processing or fabrication industry. * Customer service experience Prerequisites/Requirements: * Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test. * Valid Driver's License * Background check.
