Full description of the position

Job Purpose * Marketing and selling State Farm insurance and financial services including Life Insurance. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: * Sales Experience in Insurance & Financial industry is Preferred. * Minimum of 2 years sales experience is required for this position. * Experience in marketing and customer service is preferred. SKILLS/ ABILITIES: * Ability to satisfy insurance licensing requirements: Property, Casualty and Life. * Ability to learn and apply product, industry and market knowledge to provide suitable recommendations to potential and existing clients * Ability to conduct needs based marketing interviews with potential and existing clients * Problem solving skills * Strong listening, oral, and written communications skills * Ability to take initiative and act effectively both individually and as a member of a team without direction DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Solicit for new business via telephone, and other lead sources. * Cold call, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities. * Establish client relationships and follow up with clients, as needed. * Develop ongoing networking relationships with Small Business owners. * Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day. * Develop new Service opportunities for new clients. Additional benefits: * Base wage plus a very competitive commission program. * 40 Hours work week Monday & Friday 9-5:30. * Paid time off - for Personal Time and Holidays. * Generous commission structure.
