Job Summary Must live within or very near the area to be able to travel and reside in between retail stores in the Venice areas. This merchandising position does require traveling with up to 1hr15min radius sometimes. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience by ensuring that products are displayed effectively and are readily available for customers. You will work closely with store management to implement merchandising strategies that drive sales and improve product visibility. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to engage with customers positively. Duties * Maintain attractive product displays according to company standards and promotional guidelines. * Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and labeled correctly. * Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and identify reorder needs. * Collaborate with store management to execute merchandising plans and promotional setups. * Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product information. * Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for transactions when needed. * Handle cash responsibly and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions about product placement. * Supervise merchandising activities as needed, providing guidance to team members. Skills * Proficiency in cash register operation and POS systems. * Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. * Experience in store management or retail environments is a plus. * Excellent customer service abilities to enhance shopper satisfaction. * Knowledge of retail math for pricing strategies and inventory management. * Ability to manage price adjustments accurately. * Cash handling experience is essential for maintaining financial integrity. * Multilingual skills are advantageous for engaging with diverse customer bases. * Supervising experience is beneficial for leading merchandising efforts effectively.
