Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while assisting with their sales inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be key in driving customer satisfaction and loyalty. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases. * Process sales transactions accurately, to get the right part the first time for the customer. * Help maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and replenishing items as necessary. * Utilize Dealer Management Systems (DMS) to track inventory and manage orders. * Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent customer service. * Handle customer complaints or issues professionally, ensuring resolution in a timely manner. * Keep the sales counter organized and presentable at all times. Skills * Need automotive or heavy vehicles parts sales experience! * Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively. * Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell products when appropriate. * Proficient in inventory management practices to maintain stock accuracy. * Familiarity with DMS software for efficient inventory tracking. * Competent in Microsoft Office for data entry and reporting purposes. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
