What You 'll Do in this Role The Account Manager is essential in building strong customer relationships, delivering exceptional service, and driving business growth by meeting annual gross margin targets through strategic sales. This role requires deep product knowledge, particularly in lighting and gear applications, and involves promoting and selling products within an assigned territory. Key responsibilities include understanding customer needs, securing new customers, expanding product offerings, and managing the complete customer experience, including service, pricing, and account penetration. Compensation & Benefits * Earnings Potential : Base salary of $35,568 plus performance-based commissions designed to offer total compensation in the range of $60,000-$85,000 or more * Unlimited Earning Potential : High performers can significantly exceed the standard compensation range * Commission Structure : Additional commission details available during the interview process * Comprehensive Benefits : Health insurance, 401(k), paid vacations/holidays * Growth Opportunities : Career advancement with a company committed to employee development * Work Environment : Dynamic team atmosphere that values innovation and results Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all inquiries and issues. * Utilize in-depth knowledge of electrical products to offer expert advice and recommendations that enhance client operations. * Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships. * Deliver effective product presentations, both formal and informal, showcasing the value of WV Supply's offerings. * Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying customer needs and creating bids to closing sales and ensuring timely delivery. * Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring timely resolutions. * Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and logistics, to coordinate order fulfillment and delivery schedules. * Maintain detailed sales records and provide regular reports to management. * Stay current on new products, market trends, and industry standards to improve customer offerings continuously. * Provide staffing support to branch locations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
