NOW HIRING: Hospital and Marketing Liaison : Charlotte, NC, Fletcher, NC, and Columbia, SC We are looking for an experienced, dynamic healthcare sales professional/marketer to get out, hit the pavement, and turn referrals into admissions for our Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) in the North and South Carolina Territories. Responsibilities of the position include: * Build sales relationships by daily interactions with social workers, discharge planners and physicians at community hospitals and other industry service providers in the Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC and Asheville, NC markets to increase referrals and admissions in an effort to exceed census budget goals for our Skilled Nursing Centers in each market. * Maintain sales territory to meet and exceed census goals. Must be comfortable with sales techniques such as cold calling and pre-contact planning. * Daily referral management in collaboration with the SNF Admission Directors across multiple portals from various hospitals ensuring accurate review of clinical and insurance information required to facilitate appropriates resident admissions. * Perform pre-admission assessments of the clinical status of patient referrals and evaluation of patient needs at the hospital bedside. * Daily follow up with each resident post admission to ensure smooth transition and 24-hour experience. * Serve as an educational resource for patients, families, hospitals, and healthcare professionals. * Assist with the preparation and execution of a Strategic Business Development Plan in collaboration with the Skilled Nursing Facility. * Identify areas for service improvement and/or increased clinical capabilities to meet the needs of the hospital partners and clinical trends in care. * Solicit and participate in community events as they relate to the overall growth and exposure of the SNF in the market. * Attend facility meetings as required. * Serve as internal admission back up as needed. * Other related marketing/sales activities and duties as assigned by the Regional Director of Business Development. Qualifications / Experience Requirements: * 2+ years of proven successful healthcare sales experience in a hospital and/or Skilled Nursing environment. * College Degree Preferred but will consider the best experienced candidate for the role. * Established referral contacts/community relationships preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Must be comfortable with sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning with hospitals * Must be able to organize and track multiple patient cases, referral documents, payment information and more.
