Description About The Role We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to focus on our New Business Acquisition initiatives for SmartMoving. As a member of the SmartMoving New Business Acquisition team, you will discover and qualify our prospective clients and set meetings for our Account Executive team who will then assume ownership of the sales cycle You will advocate the innovative power of our platform to make organizations more productive, profitable, efficient, and mobile. Your opportunity is to delight customers by doing what's right for their business, to meet them where they are in their workflow journey and to provide them with the best solutions within the SmartMoving portfolio for innovation. * What You'll Be Doing * Lead Generation: Research and identify potential customers using various prospecting tools and channels (phone, email, social media, etc. ). * Cold Outreach: Conduct outbound outreach to engage prospective customers and schedule meetings or product demos for the sales team. * Pipeline Development: Qualify leads and move them through the sales funnel, ensuring a smooth transition to the sales team. * Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationship with prospects through consistent communication and follow-ups. * Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted outreach strategies and campaigns. * Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) * Learn SmartMoving's products and and ICP. * What We're Looking For * 1-2 years of call center experience, utilizing a structured sales process to prospect and qualify potential customers, assess their needs, and deliver a solution. * Proven ability to consistently exceed daily call targets, while maintaining high-quality interactions with prospects. * Track record of exceeding quota in a BDR or similar role for a SaaS company. * Experience with Salesforce, SalesLoft and Chili Piper preferred. * Our Core Values SmartMoving is fast-paced and fun, and we want to be home for the best of the best when it comes to our team.
