Full description of the position

SUMMARY: Responsible for identifying, qualifying, and providing value-added service to customers through industrial supply sales. Monitors industry trends, identifies emerging markets, and develops a comprehensive plan to capture additional market share. An ambassador of the company and a trusted face to our customers while adhering to company values. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: * High school diploma or equivalent * Proven work experience as a sales representative in the industrial supply industry * Must have a clean driving record and vehicle to visit customer sites SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: * Highly self-motivated and target-driven * Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills * Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills * Relationship management skills * Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience/customer needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Develop and execute a sales plan in the local territory to meet and exceed sales goals * Sell industrial and maintenance supplies business to business * Conduct cold calls with manufacturing, maintenance, construction, and other industrial job sites * Maintain and grow the existing customer base through consultive sales * Other duties assigned by the regional manager to ensure local branch success Revenue Qualification: * New hire or current book of business averaging below $70,000+ in monthly sales, $840,000+ in annual sales. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to efficiently use a personal computer equipped with a standard keyboard and mouse * Ability to communicate in English to locate, read, and report information * Lift, lower, and carry product up to 50 lbs. and regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch * Ability to drive own vehicle daily to customer sites Winzer Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
