Job Summary We are are a locally owned toy store in the galleria area of Houston. We have been open in this location for over 30 years! We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate who will provide exceptional customer service to customers shopping for kids ages 0 through teen. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS). * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume. * Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. * Handle customer inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. Requirements * Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. * Proficiency in retail math for accurate transaction handling. * Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively. * Ability to sell products by understanding customer needs and providing tailored recommendations.
