FULL-TIME RETAIL SALES CONSULTANT We are looking for a professional person to join our team as a retail sales consultant. We are a high end, custom, retail furniture store selling handmade solid wood furniture and upholstery built by the Amish. We have been in business for more than 30 years selling only American made products. Our customer base values craftsmanship, timeless design and an outstanding customer service experience. In our store, you won't be just another order taker. You will be a PROBLEM SOLVER and a COLLABORATOR, navigating clients through the creative process of designing spaces in their homes. Skills Needed: To be effective at this position you must be able to coordinate wood, colors, and fabrics for a room in a customer's home. If you can do that, and enjoy yourself while you're doing it, we can teach you the rest! Retail sales experience is preferred but not required. We offer sales and product training. Duties: Develop and nurture leads from all sources including website, phone calls, referrals, and store traffic. Work with prospects throughout the entire journey including lead, appointment, in-store visit, design process, quote, follow-up, closing the sale, post-closing and post-delivery. Take initiative and confidently lead the interaction with every customer in the showroom, and by phone or zoom. Exceed customers' expectations in helping them bring their vision for their home to life. Enthusiastically participate in our event-focused marketing to maximize these unique selling opportunities. Schedule: Saturdays are required. Employees work 5 days a week and our normal workday is 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. We are closed on Sunday and Monday. Some meetings are held before our normal business hours. Compensation: Hourly with commission structure. Expected pay for a new, well performing sales person is $45K-$65K annually. This position has a 90 day probation period.
