Melton Classics Incorporated, an industry leading manufacturer and Wholesaler of architectural products for over 30 years, seeks an experienced motivated and articulate Inside salesperson to quote and sell our Architectural Columns and Millwork Products over the phone to general contractors, architects and owners of construction projects across the US. Ideal candidate will have construction products sales experience. Compensation includes salary, bonus programs, a health and dental plan, a 401K profit sharing plan, and other paid benefits. Must live in the general area of Lawrenceville GA where the corporate office is located. We are seeking an Architectural Products sales and customer service professional with 1+ years of successful experience selling to general contractors. Responsibilities: Interface with general contractors, subcontractors, architects and owners to determine project needs and specifications. Make product recommendations to potential customers. Prepare bids for our products on commercial and residential constructions projects. Call quoted contractors to close sales for our products. After the sale customer service and installation consultation. Qualifications: Previous experience in construction products sales and customer service or related fields. Deadline and detail oriented. Strong Sales and negotiation skills. Articulate with strong verbal skills. Knowledge of the construction products bid and sales process. Skills & Abilities: Personal skills must include a successful track record that reflects consistent improvement and attainment of assigned goals. This position requires knowledge of company products and installation procedures. This person must be able to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize well. The person must be able to invoke enthusiasm and trustworthiness through voice and written communication. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to organize their daily routine, handle stressful situations professionally, multitask and prioritize properly. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers. Proven math and critical thinking skills in order to properly understand needs. Ability to work as a team player. Must have excellent customer service skills. Ability to work with a sense of urgency while also completing work accurately, safely and thoroughly.
