Top Duties and Qualifications The employee is in charge of gathering the necessary paperwork and documentation required for someone to apply for a loan. Their duties include carefully reviewing applications to confirm that all essential fields have been filled out, organizing additional application materials and submitting applications on schedule. Duties and responsibilities The employee has several duties and responsibilities, such as: * Gathering information for the loan application * Verifies the information provided on applications to obtain more information if missing data or mistakes are present * Communicates with customer to help them choose the option they can afford * Collecting data from clients such as their assets, salaries, debts and employment status to fill in information for the loan application * Researching and correcting mistakes in applications for clients * Reviewing file documentation for missing or erroneous information * Assisting Manager with requests and tasks needed to complete and process applications Skills and qualifications The employee should have a variety of practical skills for their position. The main skills and qualifications of a are: * Experience with loan software programs * Verbal and written communication * Good interpersonal and customer service skills * Time-management and organization skills * Ability to work with strict deadlines * Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms * Ability to work in fast-paced environment * Willingness to learn new concepts to grow and advance * Understand and execute all administrative responsibilities including but not limited to deal documentation and cash handling, meeting company provided expectations * Experience requirements Entry-level or experienced should have a year of experience in previous automotive sales, real estate sales, cellular phone sales, insurance sales, furniture sales or mortgage banking or finance, preferably in a customer- facing role.
