Gulf Coast Gas*,* a leading supplier of full-range specialized gases, is seeking a sales professional to join their team as an Outside Sales Representative*in the*Houston, TX area. If you have at least 5 years of outside sales experience and experience working with refinery support services/contractors*,* Gulf Coast Gas wants to hear from you! A TWIC Card is a big plus! Minimum qualifications: * High School diploma or GED. * At least 5 years of outside sales experience. * Proficient with MS Office - Excel, Word & PowerPoint. * Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. * Clean driving record. Preferred qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required. * Industrial, medical or specialty gas experience preferred, but not required. Essential duties/responsibilities: * Develops new business and maintains existing business by building and sustaining strong, trusting relationships with customers and prospects. * Cold calls (onsite & phone) potential targets. * Responsible for gross profit improvement. * Plans and organizes activities and resources so that sales goals are consistently met or exceeded. * Prepares and executes Business Plan for targeted customer segments. * Secures long term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements. * Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data. * Maintain list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads. * Conducts competitive intelligence. * Demonstrates products to new account customers. * Manages territory budget. * Other duties as assigned.
