Job Title: Account Manager Reports to: Director of Amara Wind USA Salary Range: $55k - 75k + eligibility for bonus Location: Greater Houston, Texas area Purpose of the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to serve as the primary contactpoint for our valued customers. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintainin long-term relationships, ensuring a seamless customer experience, and effectively addressing any questions, concerns, or problems. This role will involve understanding the unique business needs of our clients and identifying new solutions and strategies to generate revenue and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional customer relationship management capabilities. Key Accountabilities: Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty. (30%): Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new solutions to increase revenue from assigned accounts. (25%) Customer Retention & Advocacy: Act as a trusted advisor, proactively addressing concerns and resolving issues to improve customer satisfaction and ensure long-term retention. (20%) Account Performance: Monitoring Regularly monitor account health and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and work with internal teams to address any underperformance. (15%) Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, support) to ensure customer needs are met and provide regular updates and insights on account status to management. (10%) Key Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention. Address and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, or issues in a timely and professional manner. Understand customers' business needs and recommend tailored solutions and strategies to drive growth and generate additional revenue. Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, support, product, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of customer requests and expectations. Regularly check in with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement or upselling. Monitor account performance, track key metrics, and ensure that service delivery aligns with customer expectations. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and customer service enhancements. Provide consistent and clear communication to customers about updates, issues, or any changes affecting their business. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and product offerings to provide valuable insights and support to customers. Essential: Proven experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, or similar role in a client-facing environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a customer-first mindset. Ability to identify customer needs and effectively propose appropriate solutions. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Soft Skills: Experience in developing strategic partnerships and alliances. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions. Familiarity with industry-specific tools and platforms. Preferred: Experience in wind sales and customer service. Technical knowledge of renewable/electrical energy systems and installations.
