Lumber Sales Consultant - Thompson Lumber Co. 12829 Nimitz, Houston, TX 77015 Job Type: Full-time | Remote flexibility About Us: Thompson Lumber Co. is a growing supplier of high-quality lumber and building materials. We're looking for a driven, goal-oriented Sales Representative to help us expand our customer base and deliver outstanding service. What You 'll Do: * Sell lumber, building materials, and special orders to contractors, builders, and homeowners. * Handle customer quotes, sales orders, and follow-ups (remote quoting available via email). * Upsell products and maximize every sales opportunity. * Coordinate delivery or customer pickups from our lumber yard. * Process all sales and special orders through management for approval. * Follow our no-returns policy for all special orders. What We 're Looking For: * Sales experience (lumber/building materials a big plus). * Self-motivated, competitive, and hungry to close deals. * Strong communication and follow-up skills. * Ability to work independently and manage your own sales pipeline. * Basic computer/email skills for quoting and communication. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
