Brief Summary Description of Job: Coreslab Structures (OKLA) Inc. is in immediate need of a Business Development Representative for our precast concrete manufacturing and construction business. We are seeking a proficient- level sales/business salesperson to join our sales team. This position is based in Oklahoma City and will have primary territorial responsibility for the Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma markets. Frequent travel to these markets and occasional travel to other regional markets (i.e. NW Arkansas, Wichita, KS), including some overnight travel, will be required. A company car is provided after ninety (90) days of employment with a satisfactory driving record. The successful candidate should be able to think strategically and creatively within the precast concrete sector of the construction industry. Precast concrete industry experience is helpful, but not required. Reports to: Sales Manager Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree. * Minimum of two years of, progressive sales/business business development experience. * Can fluently speak, read, and write English. * Ability to read and interpret construction documents (Architectural and Structural Drawings). Minimum Skills/Expectations: Sales/Business * Exposure to and understanding of project blueprints and specifications. Development to high proficiency in reading blueprints will be expected. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Blue-beam software experience is a plus. * Bring a positive, energetic, engaging and personable attitude to the role. Be self-motivated and ready and able to learn. Position responsibilities: * Attend all meetings on time and be prepared to discuss your market. * Take ownership of your projects from bid invite to sold project to the final hand-off with the project management team. * Meet or exceed your yearly listed revenue quota. * Maintain your territory and customers with exceptional customer service. * Participate in and/or exhibit at industry trade events to further business opportunities (conventions, meetings, golf outings, etc.). * Communicate clearly and effectively with the estimating and drafting and engineering departments. * Foster a safe and respectful work environment. Physical Qualifications: * Ability to lift twenty-five (25) pounds at a time (for delivery of project samples, set-up table-top exhibits, etc.). * Ability to walk on unstable ground (job sites).
