As an Outside Sales Representative, you will leverage your strong marketing, communication, and business development skills to identify and secure new opportunities. Partnering with internal resources, you will present our capabilities, develop tailored solutions, and provide comprehensive sales and project management support. Your role will be instrumental in guiding clients through the home restoration process, ensuring they receive the best possible service and solutions all while benefitting from our highly-favorable commission policy. Duties Include: * Develop knowledge on the industry and our products and leverage that knowledge to sell roofing, siding, concrete, windows, gutters & insulation * Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with their current and potential clients * Write clear, effective and descriptive sales proposals and quotes * Act as point of contact for communication of project status throughout the life cycle of the project * Populate internal systems and CRM with accurate, timely, and precise information * Coordinate sales efforts with Owner, Operations Manager, Sales Manager, Office Staff and Production team. * Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and 3rd party sales seminars * Attain sales targets including a close rate of 30% and generate a minimum of 2 leads per month * Comply with Lighthouse Exterior's standards, operating procedures, sales processes, and compliance policies * Manage client expectations and balance company and client needs to ensure satisfaction for all parties * Facilitate appointments Monday - Saturday between 11 am - 5 pm (occasionally 7 pm appointments in summer months), including rotated weekends * Participate in final billing to ensure accurate invoices and resolve any discrepancies The successful candidate will bring the following skills and abilities to the role: * High School Diploma / GED or equivalent with strong math, reading, writing, and reasoning skills * A valid drivers license and clean driving record * 2+ years of previous sales experience in a similar role preferred, but we will train the right individual * Professional interpersonal verbal and written communication skills * The ability to listen effectively, create creative solutions, and close deals * Ability to travel locally * Industry knowledge including residential/commercial/industrial construction, roofing, siding, gutters, and concrete preferred * Strong computer skills (MS Office / Google Docs / Calendar / Internet) If you are ready to make a difference and uphold the values that define Lighthouse Exteriors, apply today and let's explore how you might join us in our mission to create an exceptional experience for our clients and our team.
