Automated Storage Service Technician Established in 1970, Prestige Sales Company Inc. Prestige is seeking driven individuals who are excited to help us grow our automated storage arm. Vertical lift modules, deep lane pallet storage systems, mobile racking systems, and all the other automated systems we distribute each require a high-level of precision during the installation process and consistent upkeep after commissioning to ensure performance is optimal. These individuals may work in a hybrid role, assisting with our traditional static storage installations, but will have a primary focus on automated projects. A willingness to learn, experience with mechanical systems, electrical systems, and controls, and professionalism with customers are all traits a successful candidate will display. While the majority of our projects are within driving distance of the east Tennessee area, these individuals will be required to travel out of town (typically within a 300 mile radius of Chattanooga) for some projects (pay premiums in place for these projects). Key Responsibilities: * Gain a deep understanding of the storage and material handling equipment we distribute, and the intricacies associated with installing each of them * Become an expert in the process of installing and servicing the automated storage systems we distribute * Troubleshoot automated storage equipment to help customers maximize uptime * Create detailed reports that document service work and identify next steps Skills and Qualifications: * Experience in construction * Experience working with mechanical systems * Experience working with electrical systems * Experience working with controls * Experience as a maintenance technician * Experience with programming systems is preferred * Experience working with conveyors is preferred * Experience with lifts (i.e., fork lifts, scissor lifts) is preferred * Experience with fabrication (i.e., welding) is preferred Job Type: * Full Time Schedule: * Monday to Friday (typically 7AM - 5PM) Compensation / Benefits: * Competitive Hourly Salary * Overtime Pay for 40+ hours * Company paid health insurance * Paid Time Off * Retirement program with company match Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
