Job Title: Account Director - Healthcare Facilities Management Location: Phoenix, AZ Salary: Up to $175K per annum + Annual Bonus About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Account Director to lead facilities management operations at a renowned healthcare institute in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves overseeing all aspects of facilities services at a state-of-the-art healthcare facility, ensuring operations run smoothly and meet the strict standards required within a medical environment. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience in healthcare facilities management, a strong technical understanding of building systems, and financial expertise to support operational excellence and patient care. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage day-to-day operations of facilities services at a major healthcare institute, ensuring the optimal functioning of building systems and infrastructure to support both clinical and administrative activities. * Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all facilities-related concerns and ensuring timely responses to any client requests. * Oversee the facilities team to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and compliant services, including maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, janitorial services, and more. * Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols, including infection control, environmental health and safety, and other regulatory guidelines. * Collaborate with clinical staff and leadership to ensure that facilities services align with the needs of healthcare providers and do not disrupt patient care or hospital operations. * Provide technical expertise and guidance on healthcare-specific building systems, addressing challenges with engineering solutions and ensuring systems operate effectively. * Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and cost control measures, ensuring that all operations stay within budgetary constraints while optimizing service quality. * Oversee capital projects, renovations, and upgrades, ensuring alignment with healthcare operational needs and compliance with relevant regulations. * Lead emergency response planning and business continuity efforts, ensuring readiness for critical situations or potential disasters. Qualifications and Experience: * Extensive experience in facilities management within a healthcare setting, particularly in a hospital or healthcare institute, with a proven track record of managing large-scale operations. * Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, including OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission standards, and other relevant compliance requirements. * Previous experience in a senior account management or director-level role, preferably managing facilities within a healthcare environment. * Solid financial acumen with experience in budget management, cost control, financial reporting, and strategic cost optimization. * Proven leadership skills in managing teams, fostering collaboration, and developing a service-oriented culture across facilities teams. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with medical professionals, administrative staff, and external vendors. Additional Skills: * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to proactively address and resolve operational challenges. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes healthcare environment. * Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and energy management within healthcare facilities is a plus. * Detail-oriented, with exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
