Full description of the position

This position requires residency in NY State. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Conduct and direct all sales related activities within the assigned territory with the goal of meeting and exceeding revenue targets. Builds business by identifying and selling prospects, maintaining relationships with clients. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Service existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts by planning and organizing work schedule to call on and visit existing and potential sales outlets Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, making recommendations to management Maintain professional and technical knowledge Demonstrate products and services and assist customers in selecting those best suited to their needs Help dealers establish effective sales and marketing plans to best utilize co- op dollars. Maintain record of customer's barn inventory. Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Has complete knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment Has thorough knowledge of floor plan programs, retail credit programs, extended warranties Exceptional customer service and client relationship skills; represent company professionally Meeting sales goals and closing skills; take ownership of territory Prospecting skills Negotiation skills Minimum two years outside sales experience Effective computer skills for all software provided Valid drivers' license Be a consultant, not just a sales person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Compensation Package: * Bonus opportunities Schedule: * Day shift Application Question(s): * Do you have knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment? * Do you reside in NY State? * Can you travel for at least one overnight stay per week? * Are you available for Open Houses on the weekend on a seasonal basis?
