What You 'll Do: * Actively prospect and sell Chamber memberships to non-member businesses through cold calls, networking, referrals, and personal visits. * Execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed budgeted membership revenue goals. * Build and nurture relationships with new, existing, and prospective members, serving as their primary point of contact for Chamber services, benefits, and opportunities. * Maintain an active sales pipeline, updating CRM records (SimpleView CRM experience a plus) weekly to track progress. * Collaborate with the Communications Team to create compelling membership materials and marketing campaigns. * Represent the Chamber with professionalism at events, ribbon cuttings, and networking functions, confidently presenting to both small and large groups. * Provide feedback to the organization on member needs, interests, and concerns while promoting membership benefits and discounts. * Support Chamber events, maintain the membership database, and assist with administrative tasks such as collecting delayed accounts and updating member information. * Embrace innovative tools, including AI, to enhance productivity and streamline workflows. What We 're Looking For: * Experience: 2-5 years of direct sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals. Chamber or membership organization experience is a plus. * Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; strong organizational and time-management abilities; proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and comfortable with CRM systems. * Personality: High-energy, self-motivated, and adaptable with a sales-driven mindset. A collaborative team player with strong problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining optimism and high integrity. * Requirements: Bachelor's degree preferred; valid SC driver's license, dependable vehicle, and proof of insurance required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster a professional image aligned with the Chamber's brand. * Bonus Points: Familiarity with SimpleView CRM and a willingness to explore AI tools to optimize performance.
