This position is onsite for the training period which is approximately 4-weeks and then it allows the ability to work fully REMOTE. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * Using an automated dialer, contact patients to obtain payment for past-due balances. * Using Customer Service Focused Sales Technique, Negotiate payments and payment plans. * Assist patients with questions. * Work with patients to explain charges. * Intake new insurance information for billing OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Through paid, in-house training programs, master knowledge of: * FDCPA * Collection and communication techniques * Medical billing knowledge Job Requirements: POSITION REQUIREMENTS: * Consumer collection experience in a call center environment is a plus. * Must have excellent communication skills. * Required Schedule: Monday through Friday 8-5 pm EST * Must be professional and business savvy. * Must exhibit excellent attendance, be responsible & dedicated. * Hard work can yield significant, career level income for motivated individuals. * Bi-lingual Spanish speaking is a plus. Education: * High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Ideal candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: * Medical Collections * Call Center Environment * High volume, consumer focused sales * Customer Service-related fields WORKING CONDITIONS: Hours and Location: Once account representatives are fully trained, they will transition to a work from home environment where supervision and assistance is remote and continuous. Current Hours of Operation: The current hours of operation are from 8AM to 5PM. Some weekend or evening hours may be required as needed in the future.
