We are a manufacturing company in the garment industry that does mass production for various retail brands. We mostly produce knit garments, experience with knit textiles is required. We are looking for an Account Manager/Product Development Merchandiser to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The applicant's role is to oversee and facilitate day to day operations of assigned customers, cultivate new business from existing clients and actively seek fabrics to develop for our customers. The Account Manager's responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, coordinating and streamline information from development to final production costing. Customer POs need to be shared with internal teams as soon as received. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Tech Design team and Production departments) to improve the entire customer experience. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious deadlines. Ultimately, a successful candidate should collaborate with our vendors and internal teams to achieve deadlines while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run. Responsibilities * Serve as the main point of contact for all customer account matters * Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships * Clearly communicate the progress to our customers through email and phone * Review and send comments for lab dips and bulk fabric submits * Communicate with tech design dept, pattern makers, and sample room * Work with mills to develop fabrics if necessary * Must be familiar with cost breakdowns/production status reports Skills * Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role * Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs * Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail * Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities * Strong verbal and written communication skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Schedule: * Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities Experience: * Account management: 3 years (Required) License/Certification: * Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
