As part of the IHG family, we deliver exceptional extended stay services tailored for business and leisure travelers alike. We're currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our extended stay sales efforts and help grow our presence in the Louisville market. Job Summary As the Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives, building strong relationships with key clients, and maintaining high occupancy levels for our extended stay hotel. This position requires a self-starter with a deep understanding of the extended stay market and a passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan targeting extended stay business (corporate, medical, relocation, construction, etc.) Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, relocation specialists, travel agents, and corporate clients. Proactively seek and secure new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, outside sales visits, and attending industry events. Conduct property tours and presentations for prospective clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Work closely with the General Manager and Revenue Manager to ensure rate optimization and inventory control. Maintain detailed sales activity records and generate regular performance reports. Qualifications 2+ years of hotel sales experience (extended stay experience strongly preferred) Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong knowledge of the Louisville market is a plus Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales software Hotel Key Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year Benefits: * Paid time off Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to Commute: * Louisville, KY 40213 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Louisville, KY 40213: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Willingness to travel: * 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
