As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in driving sales and providing product knowledge while maintaining the store's visual appeal. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Demonstrate product features and benefits through engaging product demos. * Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card processing. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and inventory to effectively upsell products. * Support store management in supervising daily operations and ensuring compliance with company policies. * Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining merchandise displays to enhance the shopping experience. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements * Basic math skills, including retail math, for accurate transaction processing. * Previous experience in sales or retail sales is preferred, particularly in a health and wellness, gym, or supplement store environment. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly. * Experience in supervising or leading teams is a plus. * Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively to enhance customer understanding. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential. * A proactive attitude towards upselling products to maximize sales opportunities. * Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
