Full description of the position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is part of the sales and marketing department within MCA. The BDR's main objective is to establish First Time Appointments (FTA) with target profile clients within MCA and greater New Charter Technologies service areas. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist in the design and development of the company's overall marketing efforts * Establish MCA/NCT brand awareness in the community by promoting services through direct marketing campaigns, social networking campaigns, cold calling, etc. * Establishing First Time Appointments for our Outside Sales Team. * Evaluating a potential client based upon target profiles. * Provide creative and innovative strategies to marketing campaigns and events. * Participate in events to deepen client relationships * Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client and company engagement Represent MCA in a professional manner at all times. * Qualifications: * Effective time management and organizational skills * Creativity and exceptional use of English and grammar. Must be able to produce content that requires little to no correction upon proofing. * Understanding of Sales, CRM, Marketing terminology. * Understanding of foundational IT (PC's, Networks, Security) * Must be able to work with a team, no lone wolf opportunities here. * Must take extensive notes and be highly organized. Must have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook) * A successful BDR understands the core capabilities of MCA and is able to convey that value to a prospect in a short window of opportunity, typically over the phone, or in person at an event. People who thrive in this position are generally high energy, enjoy overcoming challenges, don't easily get their feelings hurt, and are very capable of selling themselves.
