The Honda Product is outstanding, and selling really well! Hayward Honda is looking to expand our internet sales department adding an experienced Product Specialist to our team. Must be able to handle a high volume of internet leads and maintain a high conversion ratio. Candidates must be honest, energetic, hard-working with strong leadership skills and a great attitude. Preferred automotive experience using a CRM and have good computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. The Sales Representative Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $15.50 and $17.05. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit. Position Overview As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to meet gross profit, volume standards, and customer satisfaction. * Promptly greet customers in a courteous and friendly manner and determine their vehicle needs and discuss options * Negotiate terms that ensure payment options meet the customers lifestyle, budget, and expectations and close the deal * Facilitate delivery of vehicle to customer to ensure full understanding of the vehicles operating features, warranty and service requirements * Prospect for customers via telephone, email, referrals, friends or personal contacts * Build rapport and common ground with customers * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options and promotions * Provide exceptional customer experience by following-up to ensure customer satisfaction * Attend all sales meetings and training classes as required Qualifications * Outstanding customer service skills * Proven ability to exceed established automotive sales and customer service goals * Pleasant and friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality * Neat, clean, professional appearance * Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills * Exceptional follow-up skills * Ability to work flexible hours including weekends * Minimum 1-year car experience * Valid California driver's license * Ability to obtain a sales license * Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check We offer a competitive pay plan and excellent benefits including Company-paid medical and dental for employee, vision, long-term disability, Company-paid life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, vacation pay, and sick pay.
