Full description of the position

The Business Development Coordinator will report to the CEO and will have the opportunity to interact with a wide cross-section of the organization, including R&D, Formulation Development, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Project Management. You will be accountable for the profitable growth of Particle Sciences Inc's CDMO division by facilitating the business development function at the organization. The Business Development Coordinator will review, provide business input, and manage Particle Sciences Inc's business development processes in alignment with our priorities and strategies. . Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Coordinate and assist in developing policies, procedures and systems to support and facilitate efficient quote writing and analysis * Business development managerial reporting * Understand processing equipment and capabilities, create and manage a database to communicate information to the BD team * Understand and communicate all inputs into: Analytical Formulation Drug Eluting Device Development Engineering Manufacturing Pricing Timing * Gannt charting key projects * Post project analysis - what went wrong/what went right? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * A minimum of an undergraduate degree in business or a related scientific field * Preferred 3+ years' experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/ industry in a contracting role, with understanding of key contract provisions across various commercial function * Strong character and ethics, self-starter and interest in working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment; works with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines * Strong analytical skills, proficient user of MS Office, must be able to use Excel * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely * The ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to influence people from multiple department who do not report to you.
