Role Overview The Catering and Events Sales Manager will help to build the brand and incremental sales revenue through sourcing, booking, and overseeing execution of catering and private events. This is an in-office position requiring close collaboration with the Director of Events & Catering, COO, Marketing and Ops Support teams. As a hospitality- driven company, flexibility is essential--while standard office hours are Monday-Friday (9 AM - 5 PM), there will be evening and weekend work needed based on business priorities. Key Responsibilities Operations Management * Manages inbound sales inquiries for catering & private event opportunities that come via phone and web. This requires checking catering portals during the evening after the order cut-off and on weekends. * Coordinates specifics, menus, timelines, and payment with clients leading up to booking, as well as up to the event. * Monitors catering order progress day-of and follows up with delivery drivers or the restaurants as needed to troubleshoot. * Works alongside HR to ensure all drivers are documented and approved within the system. Communications * Acts as liaison between LFR and delivery provider--reporting issues, flagging fees, and communicating feedback/concerns. Financial Management * Tracks and manages payments and sends summary reports to the accounting team *Sales & Marketing * Sources new clients and opportunities to increase sales. * Networks with local businesses, event planners, and community organizations to identify sales opportunities. Skills and Qualifications: * At least 2 years of catering and/or event sales experience. * Must have reliable transportation, auto insurance, and a valid driver's license. * Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Working knowledge of event software and event invoicing. * Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously. * Ability to cope with pressure, multiple deadlines, and working under pressure. * Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow Team Members and Partners. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with all Team Members.
