SUMMARY The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for reviewing requests for quotations, relaying appropriate information to Engineering, and completing quotations with the support of the Customer Service Manager. This position is also responsible for the coordination of delivery, order entry, documentation, and any additional customer requirements. Strong computer skills, as well as time management, organization, multitasked, and communication skills are required for this position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Management of designated Inside Sales Accounts. Responding to customers' inquiries. Efficiently inputs customer orders received by the band-it orders entry system and advises the customer immediately of any changes. Quote inputs. Managing customers' possible complaints. Understanding customer needs. Good organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Communication skills. Teamwork. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry, and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. OTHER SKILLS Deep knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications. Ability to maintain excellent relationships with team members, senior management, and customers. Ensures that all communication is proactively maintained at the proper level for the needs of all interested parties. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current driver's license, certificate of automobile insurance.
