Job Title: Business Development Manager Department: Sales Reports To: General Manager Status: Exempt Position Overview: The Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. Focused on expanding our footprint within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and food logistics sectors, this role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with a "hunter" mindset, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to convert leads into long-term strategic partnerships. Key Responsibilities: 1. New Business Acquisition * Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities in targeted industries and geographic regions * Build a robust pipeline through cold outreach, referrals, trade shows, and digital prospecting * Craft tailored proposals and value-driven solutions that align with client challenges and objectives 2. Account Growth & Management * Serve as the primary point of contact for newly acquired clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding process * Collaborate with operations to ensure delivery excellence and client satisfaction * Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer lifetime value 3. Strategic Sales Execution * Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with leadership * Provide real-time market feedback to influence product development, pricing, and go-to-market strategies * Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas, revenue goals, and other performance KPIs 4. Market & Industry Expertise * Stay up to date on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices * Develop a deep understanding of temperature-controlled packaging and cold chain logistics * Clearly articulate product benefits and differentiators to diverse customer profiles 5.
