We proudly operate Senior Helpers and Town Square Adult Day Centers, two complementary service lines providing compassionate in-home care and immersive adult day programming for older adults. We are expanding our reach across Ocean County and are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Director of Business Development to help lead this growth. Position Overview: As the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for increasing client referrals and driving strategic partnerships to expand our impact in the community. You will serve as the key connector between our services and the healthcare and business ecosystems of Ocean County, fostering professional relationships that lead to sustainable referral pipelines. This role focuses on driving growth across both the Senior Helpers and Town Square service lines. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Lead Generation Identify and develop referral sources by building relationships with hospitals, post-acute care facilities, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, physician offices, assisted living communities, and other healthcare providers. Manage the full business development lifecycle from lead identification to conversion, maintaining a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects. Professional Relationship Management Cultivate long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals and administrators, ensuring alignment with our services and client needs. Regularly meet with key stakeholders to reinforce relationships and uncover new opportunities for collaboration. Educational Outreach & Community Engagement Deliver compelling presentations and educational seminars at healthcare institutions and local events to promote awareness of Senior Helpers and Town Square services. Represent the organization at industry networking functions, healthcare expos, senior resource fairs, and chamber of commerce events. Marketing & Brand Promotion Collaborate on and execute marketing initiatives that position our services as essential wellness resources for older adults and their families. Leverage data to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly. Assist in the coordination and promotion of recreational and educational events at the Town Square Family Center to boost engagement. Client & Referral Partner Satisfaction Serve as the face of the organization to referral sources and new clients, guiding them through the onboarding process and ensuring a positive experience. Gather feedback from referral partners to support service enhancements and ongoing relationship building. Business Strategy & Market Analysis Evaluate local healthcare and senior services trends to identify gaps and opportunities for growth. Maintain awareness of competitor offerings and adjust outreach strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Promotion of Multi-Service Lines Effectively communicate the full scope of services offered across both Senior Helpers and Town Square to referral sources and community stakeholders. Explore new partnership avenues, including employee benefit programs with regional employers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required (marketing, business, healthcare administration or related field preferred). Proven track record of success in healthcare sales, business development, or referral marketing. Experience in home care, adult day care, rehabilitation, or senior living preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence speaking to professionals at all levels. Ability to independently manage a territory, build strong relationships, and achieve performance targets. Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment. Strong follow-up and CRM discipline to ensure conversion and satisfaction.
