Full description of the position

Job Description The DIY Sales Development Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies, and enhancing customer experience within the Do-It- Yourself (DIY) category. This role involves leading teams, analyzing market trends, and implementing initiatives to optimize sales performance and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Strategy Development * Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive growth in the DIY category. * Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. 2. Team Leadership * Mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and group targets. * Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's product knowledge and sales skills. 3. Customer Experience * Enhance the customer shopping experience through innovative merchandising and sales techniques. 4. Market Analysis * Conduct regular reviews of sales performance and market trends. 5. Collaboration and Communication * Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment and support sales initiatives. 6. Operational Excellence * Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. * Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the retail or DIY sector. * Strong understanding of the DIY market and customer base. * Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights. * Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative mindset. * Working Conditions * Role may require travel to different store locations * Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on business needs.
